Youth (Elite) Development Program
Football grassroots development requires a two - pronged system. First, the mass - based approach, which now PFF has made significant progress with its "Kasibulan Project" - specifically caters to the young, ages 6 - 12 years old.
DELTA Project & the Center for Football Excellence(CFE) - are peculiar strategy, comprising the other part of grassroots development - the complementary progression that would polish the outstanding talents sieved from the Kasibulan programs. This is our comprehensive scheme to gratify the distinct proficiency of the best and brightest - the elite - a continuing process for our future football stand - outs.
However, DFA is very resolved to making our DELTA Project & CFE aiming further towards excellence beyond Philippine Football standards or else this particular program will just be one among the many "palliative" schemes.
Distinctiveness of this project lies in the holistic strategy and continuing process that requires convergence and long - term support among the stakeholders. Elite proficiency requires relatively high degree of science and artistry. Geniuses should not be given the usual average dose. These stakeholders must be "catalysts of change" that will root out the diseases and decay of Philippine football and elevate its standards towards excellence.
Goals and Objectives
- Maximize, optimize and utilize the fullest potentials of every elite footballer.
- High quality as well as greater quantity of contribution in every RP National Pool / Team formed for international competitions.
- To be one of the dynamic spawning grounds of top - notch world class elite footballers and highly efficient and credentialed coaches.
- Players integration to local football clubs and assertion of talent supremacy in local competitions.
- Contribution to RP Teams improved performances in future Asian Youth Competitions - Under 17, Under 19, Under 21, Under 23 & Annual Tiger Cup.
- Contribute greatly to winning the GOLD in football to the 2015 Southeast Asian Games
- Improve status of Philippine Football in FIFA Ranking
